KINBURN – Dunrobin’s Dorothy Richardson is so committed to good health, she didn’t even take a day off for her 90th birthday.
WEST CARLETON – Santa will have to be agile Dec. 7, he’s the guest of honour at three different parades in West Carleton all on the same night.
CITY HALL – Councillors gathered at Ottawa City Hall this morning (Nov. 13) to receive the proposed 2025 budget, which suggests a municipal tax increase of 2.9 per cent, but including an increase to transit, it raises the bottom line for taxpayers to 3.9 per cent.
ARNPRIOR – The Arnprior Rivermen (2-5-0) started the 2024-2025 Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) with a tough win on the road, followed by a rough 1-5 streak, but assistant coach Doug Fiebig says the team has the talent and skill to finish the year strong and start a run for the playoffs in 2025.
DOWNTOWN – Celebrating important achievements in the West Carleton community; a Grade 12 student at West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) Jessica Ehoro accomplished something very impactful for her community.
