KINBURN – The paddlers of the Prior Chest Nuts dragon boat team were greeted by a sea of green in Kinburn last Saturday (March 7) as the group of cancer survivors hosted their second annual St. Patrick’s Day Party.

My alma mater is making headlines this month, and for all the wrong reasons. Canadian colleges and universities have been crushed by federal cuts, inflation and the cost of living (just like all of us).
NEPEAN – The All Saints Catholic High School curling team, well represented with West Carleton athletes, is heading to Thunder Bay, ON, to take part in the Ontario high school curling championship.
OTTAWA – As part of their education Carleton University students have been working on a plan to address rural transit problems, specifically addressing the Village of Carp, and last Monday (March 9) they unveiled it to a group of dignitaries.
