CARP – A relatively new event, maybe best described as the little sister to Carp Fair Ladies Night, Girls and Pearls may be more subdued, but it’s a night out for the ladies that ends with a big donation to a worthy organization.
WESTMEATH – Nearly 100 musicians, several from West Carleton, headed to Westmeath, ON, last week (May 4) to take part in the Ceilidh 5 and enjoy the friendship created through the mutual love of music.

DUNROBIN – The popular Dunrobin Road golf club the Edgewood Links will cease operations following the 2026 season.
KINBURN – For 23 years the fashion-forward ladies of Bethel-St. Andrew’s United Church have presented the latest spring fashions in a live show in Kinburn, and for 23 years the women of West Carleton have filled the community centre hall to catch the action.
CARP – The Carp Tennis Club is accepting members and it doesn’t matter what your skill level is, just as long as you love the game.
WEST CARLETON – Trustees will return to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB), but their roles will change as part of drastic changes to school board governance including creating a new chief executive officer position overseeing budgets at all English public and Catholic school boards.
