WEST CARLETON – A mid-week Canada Day is not ideal, but West Carleton residents made the best of it enjoying time with friends and family at their own events, at some of Ward 5’s classic Canada Day events as well as a new, international one in Fitzroy Harbour.

MANOTICK – On June 30, new Carleton MP Bruce Fanjoy hosted a lemonade mixer at his new Manotick riding office (1139 Mill St.), a former garage located on a quiet back street a few blocks from the historic Watson’s Mill.
CARP – Several Village of Carp businesses were shocked today (June 24), in the middle of an oppressive heat wave, to find out their water was being turned off tomorrow (June 25).
CARP – Last week (June 26), Mayor Mark Sutcliffe cut the ribbon on two new permanent Diefenbunker Cold War exhibitions and then celebrated the event with a standing-room- only crowd gathered in the museum’s vintage subterranean cafeteria.
DUNROBIN – After some challenging times the last few years due to regulations and restrictions, football is back in West Carleton and kids “want to be a Wolverine.”
