KINBURN – Even the state of Ottawa’s finances and spending in West Carleton-March Ward couldn’t compete with the Toronto Blue Jays’ World Series appearance last Wednesday (Oct. 29), but those who did attend the City of Ottawa 2026 budget primer, as is tradition, stated roads as the number one priority in Ward 5.
WEST CARLETON – The Hallowe’en costumes are put away for the season, so let’s immediately start talking about Christmas. In briefs form.
CARP – Last Friday (Oct. 17), Carleton MP Bruce Fanjoy hosted an informal meet-up with constituents at the Carp Branch of the Ottawa Public Library (OPL).
WEST CARLETON – Roughly two years ago (Nov. 1, 2023) the South March Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) was first proposed for a rural site near Fitzroy Harbour.
DUNROBIN – The new Dunrobin plaza remains empty for now, but yesterday (Oct. 29) dignitaries gathered on a sunny fall day to cut the ribbon on the most anticipated building in the community in years.
CARP – While West Carleton has a number of softball fields in the community, this summer volunteers and vested parties worked together to build the community’s first baseball diamond.
KINBURN – The annual Stonecrest Summer Send-off has grown in to a huge event for Stonecrest Elementary School taking months
