OTTAWA – City staff are ready to help the community help the city sparkle during its annual spring cleaning.

CARP – While today (March 17) makes it feel like spring will never arrive, hundreds of gardening enthusiasts took the opportunity to get some seeds, some gardening advice and learn about this year’s hottest gardening trends at the fourth annual Seedy Saturday in Carp last Saturday (March 14).

STITTSVILLE – Two term City of Ottawa Stittsville Coun. Glen Gower will stay true to his word and not seek re-election during the 2026 municipal election scheduled for next fall.

WEST CARLETON – In March of 2023, all three levels of government gathered in Dunrobin to announce $13 million in combined funding heading to Bell Network to provide 6,400 homes in West Carleton and Renfrew County with high-speed Internet service.

NEPEAN – The All Saints Catholic High School curling team, well represented with West Carleton athletes, is heading to Thunder Bay, ON, to take part in the Ontario high school curling championship.

OTTAWA – As part of their education Carleton University students have been working on a plan to address rural transit problems, specifically addressing the Village of Carp, and last Monday (March 9) they unveiled it to a group of dignitaries.
