Ontrac’s annual job fair hits Arnprior March 12

ARNPRIOR – Ontrac, Arnprior’s Employment Resources Services, will host its annual job fair Thursday, March 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre (77 James St.).

“We’re excited to help our community build connections, and we’re ready to assist employers and job seekers alike with their Job Fair preparation,” ontrac staff released in a statement today (Jan. 20).

The employment services organization has advice for both job seekers and potential employers.

“Job seekers, now is the perfect time to register for our free employment services, so you’re prepared when the Job Fair arrives,” ontrac said. “We can provide one-on-one services including resume assistance, interview prep, job search tips, career decision making, training opportunities, and more.”

“Employers, free booths are still available,” ontrac said. “Come connect with motivated job seekers and promote your opportunities at no cost. Reach out to Alicia and Chelsie (aott@getontrac.ca and cgordon@getontrac.ca) to receive your employer registration form and secure your booth.”

The job fair will have opportunities for people searching for full time, part time, casual, seasonal and student jobs.

“Bring your resume, dress for success and be ready to interview,” ontrac said. “We hope to see you all on Thursday, March 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre.”
