1952 – 2023
After a courageous battle with cancer, Dennis passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the age of 70. Dennis leaves behind his beloved wife Catherine, and his two children; David and Andrea (Michael LeJeune).
Predeceased by his parents William and Edeth. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Wayne (Lillian) and Brian (Corliss), brother-in-law Gareth (Jacqueline) as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Dennis was surrounded by a special community of friends who supported him throughout his journey.
Dennis was born and raised in Toronto before moving to Ottawa in 1981. He was a logical thinker applying this skill to his work as a Systems Analyst. In retirement, Dennis loved to travel and play golf and pickleball. Above all else, he prioritized his family and friends. Dennis will always be remembered for his strength, perseverance and wit.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Dennis’ Life at ALE, 54 Springbrook Drive, Stittsville on Wednesday, August 30th from 4-7pm.Tributes and sharing of memories at 5:30pm.
