Unexpectedly at home due to complications of pulmonary asbestosis, on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the age of 78.

Beloved husband of Jeanne for 57 years. Dear father of Donna Marie (Kevin) Farrell, Denise Michele (Chris) Nolan. Dearly loved grandfather of Jenna (Mike) Anderson, Spencer Thomas Farrell and great-grandfather of Piper Grace Anderson, awaiting the arrival of a great-grandson. Dear brother of Shelba (Harold) Billings, Ross, Pat (Angie), and Shawn (Jill). Predeceased by his parents and his sister Carol Kinkley (Ken-surviving). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends and his coworkers at the Ottawa Citizen. Dearly missed by his dog, Miss. Molly.

As per Dale’s wishes, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
