Barbara Shirley Bateman

March 11, 1927 (Ottawa) – October 23, 2018 (Perth)

Peacefully in her 92nd year and after a short illness, with her family at her side. Predeceased by her parents Ted and Essie Gundersen and her husband of 41 years Sydney Bateman. Survived by her loving companion and Mississippi Squares dance partner Ron Morrow; sister Joan Moffatt; brother Ray Whitford; sons Stephen (Dariel), Todd, David (Susan) and Leslie (Margie); daughters Nancy Bateman and Kim McDermid (Randy); grandchildren Timothy Stock-Bateman (Anne), Alexandra Gifford (Miles), Taylor Bateman, and Kurtis, Ava and Olivia McDermid; and great-granddaughters Aude, Eloise and Miriam Stock-Bateman.

Friends may pay their respects at St. James Anglican Church, 3774 Carp Road, Carp on Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to any Alzheimer Organization would be gratefully acknowledged.
