Maudella “Maude” Scheel (nee LeBrun)
With heavy hearts we announce that Maude passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home and surrounded by the love of family on Thursday afternoon, September 6th, 2018 following a valiant journey through cancer. She was 79. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Scheel Jr. Dearly loved mother of Michael Cloutier (Nancy) and Joe Cloutier (Susan), both of Renfrew. Predeceased by her only daughter, Denise Cloutier. Cherished and lovingly remembered by grandchildren Tabatha-Lynn, Derek and Joey and great-grandchildren Olivia, Sophie and Ashley. Dear sister of Jacqueline Mayhew (late Michael). Daughter of the late Howard LeBrun and the late Celeste Kingsbury. Predeceased by 5 brothers: Gilbert, Jarvis, Clarence, Oswald and David as well as 6 sisters: Geraldine, Justine, Loretta, Lila, Elizabeth and Gladys. Feisty, brutally honest and kind to a fault, Maude called a spade a spade. Her unique character will be missed. Friends are invited to join Maude’s family during visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. and again on Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. A Tribute to Maude will follow in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In memory, please consider a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
