Kinburn shed fire quickly extinguished

KINBURN – A small out-building was damaged by fire in Kinburn yesterday (July 29).
A small shed caught fire but firefighters made quick work of the evening blaze.
Ottawa Fire Station 61 is less than two kilometres from the site of the fire in downtown Kinburn on Loggers Way. The fire was under control by 9:20 p.m. and it took 23 minutes after that for firefighters to extinguish the small blaze.
No injuries were reported and there was nobody in the shed at the time of the fire. While the shed will likely be destroyed, firefighters were able to make sure the fire did not spread to the nearby home.
