Kanata Conservative candidate Kung launches campaign tomorrow

KANATA – The federal election is heating up and Kanata Conservative candidate Greg Kung will officially launch his campaign tomorrow (March 29) in Kanata.
With the upcoming election April 28, West Carleton, for the first time in decades, finds itself somewhat split in to two ridings. For those Ward 5 residents east of Berry Side Road, Murphy Side Road and Vaughan Side Road to Highway 417, they will find themselves voting in the new Kanata Riding. This encompasses the Village of Carp, Ward 5’s most populous community.
Kung, a Lanark County paramedic and Ward 5 resident, is a first time candidate who has been campaigning for more than a year, but on Saturday, March 29, he will officially launch his campaign, and your invited.
“We’re excited to invite you to the official launch of our campaign,” Kung’s campaign team released in a statement. “Join us on Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m. as we officially kick off the campaign to turn Kanata blue.”
The launch will be held at Kung’s campaign office at Unit 5-462 Hazeldean Rd. from 11 to 12:30 p.m.
“Enjoy a hot dog, burger, lemonade, coffee, and meet fellow Conservatives,” organizers said. “Learn how you can get involved. Please note that our campaign office is small, so we expect a bit of overflow out onto the sidewalk and parking lot. Please dress appropriately for the weather.”
