Inferno golf scramble extends registration
Special to WC Online
KANATA – There’s still time to register for the Second Annual Inferno Golf Scramble scheduled for Friday, Aug. 28.
The tournament is a fundraiser for West Carleton’s first and only junior C hockey team, the Inferno, which plays in the National Capital Junior Hockey League. This fall, the West Carleton Inferno will be playing in their third season since joining the league.
The new registration deadline is Aug. 23 and the tournament will practice COVID-19 safe protocols.
“Don’t have a foursome?” organizer and team owner John Miolta released in a statement. “No problem, Single and twosome registrations are welcome. We will set you up with a great team. Want to save some money? No problem, register with the pull cart option instead of a power C-cart! It’s easier on the wallet and it’s healthier for you too.”
The scramble is being held at the Canadian Golf and Country Club. For more information, or to register, click here.
