Holly’s Haven is a volunteer-run wildlife rehabilitation centre helping orphaned babies and injured animals. The volunteers care for a wide variety of animals including bats, deer, foxes, groundhogs, otters, porcupines, possum, rabbit, raccoons, skunks, squirrels and weasels.
The long-running rescue, formerly known as the Constance Creek Wildlife Refuge, gets by on donations and volunteer power. The haven was founded and operated by Lynne Rowe of Dunrobin Road. West Carleton Online interviewed her back in 2021, and columnist Richard Longworth focused a 2023 Good News Story column on the animal rescue.
