Fall Red Trillium tour showcases colour Oct. 18
Special to WC Online
WEST CARLETON – Creativity. Conversation. Community. All to be experienced by visitors to the Fall Red Trillium Studio Tour, which is taking place the weekend of Oct. 18 to Oct. 19, in and around West Carleton.

A spring and fall institution of the area for the last 27 years, the Red Trillium Studio Tour highlights the artistry and talent of the region with participating artists and fine craftspeople opening their individual studio spaces to the public.
“It is an opportunity for you to step into the world in which an artist creates; to see firsthand the artistic process and inspiration; to ask questions; and to have a conversation about an artwork or fine craft that particularly speaks to you,” Yellow House Studio’s Wendy Clement told West Carleton Online today (Oct. 2).
This year, the Red Trillium Studio Tour is pleased to have 29 local and guest artists at 11 studio stops scattered throughout Dunrobin, Kinburn, Constance Bay and Carp.
“This includes seven new artists, and one new studio stop so there will definitely be a mixture of old favourites and soon to be new ones,” Clement said. “Whether hot glass, fused glass or stained glass, photography, woodwork, fibre or fabric arts, watercolour, acrylic, oil, mixed media, pottery, jewellery, printmaking, and much, much more, there is something for everyone. All work is original and handmade, and some studio stops will include demonstrations. Many studios are clustered together, and most studios have more than one artist, making it easy to visit them all.”

The Red Trillium Studio Tour invite you to visit our website (https://www.redtrilliumst.com) to learn more about the individual participating artists and to download the e-brochure. Accessibility information as well as other pertinent information may also be found via the website, including the map of studio stops.
“All studios are numbered and there will be signage peppered along the way to help guide you – but there is not set route. It’s all up to you,” Clement said. “Creativity abounds in your community. We hope you will come out and join us for the fall 2025 Red Trillium Studio Tour. “We look forward to seeing you on the fall 2025 Red Trillium Studio Tour.”
The tour runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
