The St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church’s annual yard sale returns June 25. The yard sale will be held on the lovely church grounds found at 205 Bayview Dr. The event will be on Saturday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the rain date July 2.

On Saturday, June 25 the history moves outside and over to Galetta for an Antique Show hosted by Barry Dean and friends at 4847 MacHardy Rd. one kilometre north of the tiny village. The event will feature narrated outdoor doors between noon and 1:30 p.m. and again at 3 p.m. On display will be farm antiques, cars and trucks from the 1920s and 1930s. The rain ate for this event will be Sunday, June 26.

We are thrilled to announce that the 5th Arnprior Market Season will see a return to an in-person event. The opening market will be held on Sunday June 5, 2022 and run through to Sunday September 25, 2022. The market is located on John Street North between the intersections of Elgin Street and Rock Lane. Vendors include local farmers, bakers, artisans and entrepreneurs. Hours of operation 9:00am to 2:00 pm.

On Friday, July 1 starting at 3 p.m. the Legion will host a pig roast with live music by Wilson/Strong (Travis, Danny and Billy).

The Dunrobin Community Association will host a Canada Day celebration at the Dunrobin Community Centre, 1151 Thomas A. Dolan Parkway. This will be the association’s first Canada Day at the community centre since the village was devastated by the 2018 tornado.
