The opening market will be held on Sunday June 5, 2022 and run through to Sunday September 25, 2022. The market is located on John Street North between the intersections of Elgin Street and Rock Lane. Vendors include local farmers, bakers, artisans and entrepreneurs. Hours of operation 9:00am to 2:00 pm.

A giant yard sale will be held on Saturday to support preserving the Burnt Lands Alvar from encroaching development. There is a proposal by Cavanagh Construction to expand its March Road quarry into land that is shown in Ottawa's Official Plan as a Natural Environment area with Environmental Protection zoning.
