𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘆 is an annual event where volunteers pick up litter in such public spaces as the beach, water access lanes, forest, Constance Bay Rd., Bishop Davis, Len Purcell and Allbirch as well as the community centre grounds. Snacks provided. Pick up your trash bags and gloves in the community centre parking lot, 262 Len Purcell Drive, before heading out to your chosen location.

National Capital Network of Sculptors is having their annual West End Show at the Kanata CivicArt Gallery, located in the John Milacak Centre. The show will feature 15 sculptors and 27 sculptures in a variety of media. Sculptures often convey emotions, tell stories, or explore abstract concepts, allowing viewers to engage with art in a tangible and three-dimensional form. The Lunch Bunch by Seniors at Home
A full course luncheon event at the Arnprior Legion on Wednesday, May 1st from 12-2pm. Choice of sandwiches sliced ham and cheese on croissant or turkey salad. Macnamara Field Naturalists’ Club monthly meeting, May 1, at the Arnprior Curling Club, upstairs. Join Dr. Greg Bulte to learn about his observations of the Northern map turtle under the surface of Opinicon Lake. To better understand the reproductive, social, and overwintering behaviours of the Northern map turtle, he will share some fascinating photo images and explain why map turtles behave the way they do.
