The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) invites you to join them at their Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Tony Graham Recreation Complex in Kanata.

It promises to be a memorable evening as teams representing local community organizations and groups walk together to raise money for WOCRC programs that specifically support the hurt, hungry and homeless of West Ottawa.

Those who have worked or volunteered for the WOCRC know showing up is a longstanding tradition of the organization, so it’s no surprise that 20 teams,117 walkers and 44 volunteers have already signed up including the Young Hearts, a 10-member team who hail from West Carleton.

According to the national CNOY website, more than $75 million has been raised in 190 communities since the event began in 2011. One hundred per cent of the net proceeds stay with local CNOY charity partners.
