The St. Mary’s Anglican Church is celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on May 14 and you are cordially invited.

“St. Mary’s Anglican Church (2574 Sixth Line Rd.) cordially invites you to joing with your family, friends, and community in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on May 14,” church volunteers released in a statement yesterday (May 5).

Church volunteers will have a selection of sandwiches, freshly baked homemade scones with clotted cream and hams, an assortment of classic cakes, “fancies” and squares and a choice of tea.

The event is reserved seating only, so pre-registration is a must.

Seating one will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and seating two from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The cost is $25 per person and $15 for those 12 years and younger. Current COVID protocols will be followed. Organizers ask you RSVP by May 12 to Meg Colbourn at meg.coulbourn@hotmail.com or call 613-832-1331.
