The Huntley Township Historical Society presents Discover the Carp Hills with Janet Mason, Chair, Friends of the Carp Hills, on a Natural History Tour of the Carp Hills.

This 4,000-hectare ridge of Canadian Shield features wetlands and white pine forests and provides habitat for 10 species at risk and for an unusual and diverse community of plants and animals.

The one-billion-year-old rock barrens are unique in the city of Ottawa.

Join us and learn about the Carp Hills’ geology, landscape, plants and animals, and some recent human history.
