Did you have a bumper crop of jicama, but maybe your kohlrabi didn’t do so good in this year’s garden?

Well head to the Corkery Veggie Swap Aug. 29, swap out those extra veggies and trade them in for some you’re short on this season.

“Do you have more tomatoes than you know what to do with?” the Corkery Community Associaion (CCA) released in a statement Thursday (July 18). “Zucchinis as big as your head? But a critter ate all your lettuce? Come out and swap veggies with your neighbours from 6:30 to 7 p.m. at the community centre.”

The CCA will host the event on Thursday, Aug. 15 and Aug. 29 at the Corkery Community Centre.
