Denim and Diamonds Bingo Nov. 14 to support DSYTC

KANATA – Put on your denim and win some diamonds on Nov. 14 in support of the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre (DSYTC) now open in Carp.
While the DSYTC officially opened last May, the organization still owes in excess of roughly $1.5 million on the beautiful facility.
But don’t worry about that, head out to the Brookstreet Hotel (525 Legget Dr.) on Thursday, Nov. 14, rom 5:30 to 11 p.m. for a horse wagon load of fun at the DSYTC Denim and Diamonds Bingo Bash in support of the Village of HOPE campaign.
“Saddle up for a boot-stompin’ night of mouthwaterin’ food, two rounds of bingo with dazzling prizes, a hootin’ and hollerin’ live and silent auction and toe-tappin’ country tunes by Rick and Val to dance the night away,” the DSYTC released in a statement Monday (Sept. 23). “Gather with us as we celebrate the opening of our new centre with an evening of great friends, food and fun games of bingo.”
During the bingo alone, there are more than $3,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.
Tickets are $250 each and include cocktail reception with appetizers; a three course plated dinner with wind; a lived experience speaker; two games of bingo; live auction for amazing prizes; silent auction just in time for the holiday season; and live music and line dancing with Rick and Val Country.
“Help us raise awareness and funds to complete the last $1 million of our $4 million dollar campaign,” the DSYTC said. “We thank you for your support.”
