CARP – The beautiful Carp Classic trophy, donated by Carp’s Rump family, is heading downtown (probably more figuratively than literally) following the Rideau Curling Club’s Team Lewis victory at this year’s $12,000 Carp Classic.

ARNPRIOR – The Arnprior Rivermen are on their hottest streak of the season winning three games in a row, racing up the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) standings and looking for win number four this Saturday (Dec. 21) hosting the Pontiac Senior Comets at the Nick Smith Centre.

DUNROBIN – The West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) Wolves have done it again; the boys AAA volleyball team has qualified for the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) as Ottawa’s representatives for the first time in more than 10 years.

DUNROBIN – PGA Tour Americas has announced dates for the third annual Commissionaires Ottawa Open golf tournament, a PGA Tour-sanctioned professional golf tournament and official Fortinet Cup event, at Eagle Creek Golf Course from July 21 to July 27, 2025.
