SASKATOON – Huntley Curling Club’s Team Frlan is coming back to Carp as the third best U18 women’s curling team in Canada.

CARP – Last Saturday (Feb. 22) the country celebrated Curling Day in Canada, and at the Huntley Curling Club, that meant participating in Canada’s Big Shootout and a free Give Curling a Try community workshop.

ARNPRIOR – Last Friday (Feb. 21) the Arnprior Rivermen advanced to round two of the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) playoffs, and less than 24 hours later played their first game of the second round against the North Dundas Rockets.

ARNPRIOR – It was an up and down regular season for the Arnprior Rivermen, but that’s ancient history and now it’s time to focus on the 2025 Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL).

CARP – Fast pitch isn’t just for the boys, and a new women’s league is coming to Carp this summer.

CARP – The beautiful Carp Classic trophy, donated by Carp’s Rump family, is heading downtown (probably more figuratively than literally) following the Rideau Curling Club’s Team Lewis victory at this year’s $12,000 Carp Classic.

ARNPRIOR – It was one win and one loss last weekend as the Arnprior Rivermen squared off against two of the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League’s (EOSHL) best at the Nick Smith Centre.

ARNPRIOR – The Arnprior Rivermen are steamrolling towards the post-season, in the Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League (EOSH).

REITERALM – Dunrobin’s Hannah Schmidt is starting the year off right with a gold medal in the first international ski cross event of the year.

MOUNT FOREST – The Huntley Curling Club’s (HCC) Team Frlan is now a two-time provincial champion after winning the U18 Curling Ontario Provincial Championship yesterday (Jan. 12) in Mount Forest, ON.
