DUNROBIN – For two of the three West Carleton Wolverines Football Club teams the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) season started Saturday (Aug. 16) and the two young teams provided wins for their home team fans.

CARP – Someone finally knocked off the Micksburg Twins at the Carp Shootout, but unfortunately it wasn’t either of West Carleton’s home teams.

ST. JOHN’S – Fastball superstar Conner Hopper was representing the West Carleton Electric during this weekend’s Carp Shootout as an alternate.

CARP – Premier fastball returns to West Carleton this weekend with the third annual Carp Shootout landing in its namesake village starting Friday (Aug. 9) evening.

DUNROBIN – Grand Rapids, MI’s, Brett White won his first Professional Golfers Association (PGA) Tour Americas’ event today (July 27), needing two extra holes to secure the championship at Eagle Creek Golf and Country Club.

GRAFTON – The West Carleton Electric are bringing home bronze from the Ontario Amateur Softball Association (OASA) U20 Men’s Provincial Championship.

NEPEAN – Carp’s Will Batley continues to rack up wins in elite level track and field, this time coming first in the 200 m sprint at the Canadian Track and Field League (CTFL) trials held last weekend at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility at Mooney’s Bay.

DUNROBIN – After some challenging times the last few years due to regulations and restrictions, football is back in West Carleton and kids “want to be a Wolverine.”

DUNROBIN – It’s the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) Flag Championship Weekend and you can support the needy at the exact same time you are cheering on the West Carleton Wolverines Football Club.

GATINEAU – West Carleton continues to export top athletic talent as two-sport star, Kinburn’s Finn Barton will be sharing his hockey skills with the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) next season hopping the river to play for the Gatineau Olympiques.
