NEPEAN – The senior girls West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) touch football team took the city title yesterday (June 12) at Minto Field securing their second undefeated season and another National Capital Secondary School Athletic Associations’ (NCSSAA) championship.

KANATA – It was a great day for West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) at Day 2 of the Ontario Federation of Secondary School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) track and field championship, as Grade 10 student Will Batley captured the gold medal in the sport’s premier event, the 100-metre dash.

DUNROBIN — The Commissionaires Ottawa Open, an official PGA Tour Canada Fortinet Cup event coming to Dunrobin’s Eagle Creek July 17 to 23, is giving a sponsor’s exemption to Ottawa Senators’ forward Claude Giroux, who will also act as the tournament’s honorary chair.

KINBURN – The Grave Cup cycling series kicked off last Saturday (April 15) and 191 registrants took part in the Ottawa Valley Spring Runoff.
