WEST CARLETON – The West Carleton Outdoor Hockey League (WCOHL) is growing for the soon to be here 2026 season.

WEST CARLETON – It was another great year for the West Carleton Wolverines Football Club, and while many call football the ultimate team sport, there are always a few individual awards to distribute.

DUNROBIN – West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) played an excellent host for the Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Associations (OFSAA) AAA Volleyball Championship last week (Nov. 20 to Nov. 22), but it would not be a fairytale ending for the home team Wolves.

WEST CARLETON – Following on the snowy footsteps of one the best years for the West Carleton Outdoor Hockey League (WCOHL) registration is now open for the upcoming season of the greatest game on ice.

OTTAWA – The Huntley Curling Club-based Team Frlan spent a spooky weekend winning the 2025 Ottawa Valley Curling Association Superspiel.

CARP – While West Carleton has a number of softball fields in the community, this summer volunteers and vested parties worked together to build the community’s first baseball diamond.

CARP – The Ontario Four Horse Hitch Series (Ontario Four) is thrilled to announce a significant partnership with the Carp Fair to host the prestigious Ontario Four Finals for two consecutive years in 2026 and 2027.

DUNROBIN – Thanksgiving is synonymous with football, and this year the long weekend marked the end of the regular season of the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) for the West Carleton Wolverines.

DUNROBIN – Long-time Team Canada captain and Torino 2006 gold medallist Todd Nicholson will be the first para hockey player inducted into the Canadian Paralympic Team Hall of Fame along with two other legendary Canadian athletes.

KANATA – For the first time in its history and for the final equestrian competition of this year, Wesley Clover Parks (401 Corkstown Rd.) will host Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) level eventing from Sept. 26 through 28.
