KANATA-CARLETON – Kanata-Carleton Member of Provincial Parliament Dr. Merrilee Fullerton is resigning from her position effective immediately.

KANATA-CARLETON – West Carleton’s federal representative, Kanata-Carleton MP Jenna Sudds, says she won’t object to the latest proposed federal ridings boundary map which will separate parts of West Carleton in to two different ridings in time for the next federal election.

DUNROBIN – West Carleton and a chunk of Renfrew County will be the beneficiaries of a multi-level government announcement promising $13 million to bring high-speed Internet service to 6,400 homes in rural eastern Ontario.

CITY HALL – Council approved a revised timeframe for developing a new Zoning Bylaw for Ottawa, during today’s (March 8) regular City of Ottawa council meeting. 

CITY HALL – It took more than five hours and had to navigate a minor protest, but City of Ottawa council approved a more than $5.5 billion budget to manage the city in 2023.

WEST CARLETON – The latest proposal for the new federal electoral boundary map will see West Carleton split in to two ridings, with a huge chunk of the rural community joining Conservative leader MP Pierre Poilievre’s south Ottawa riding.

KANATA – Beaches-East York MP Nate Erskine-Smith dropped by the Kanata-Carleton riding yesterday (Feb. 15) testing the waters on a provincial Liberal leadership bid.

KINBURN – The Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) had some political power at their regular monthly meeting last night (Feb. 13).
