CITY HALL – During the April 6 meeting of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs committee (ARAc), Ken Holmes had an opportunity to speak of the concerns about the latest draft of the Transportation Master Plan.

WEST CARLETON – It’s starting to feel like spring hates West Carleton.

KANATA-CARLETON – While a timeline for filling the now-vacant Kanata-Carleton seat at the Ontario Legislature has not been decided yet, the position has attracted interest from a candidate for West Carleton-March Ward in last year’s municipal election.

WEST CARLETON – Yesterday (Feb. 28) the federal government released its 2023 budget, one Kanata-Carleton MP Jenna Sudds says provides “targeted inflation relief to those who need it most.”

KANATA-CARLETON – Kanata-Carleton Member of Provincial Parliament Dr. Merrilee Fullerton is resigning from her position effective immediately.

KANATA-CARLETON – West Carleton’s federal representative, Kanata-Carleton MP Jenna Sudds, says she won’t object to the latest proposed federal ridings boundary map which will separate parts of West Carleton in to two different ridings in time for the next federal election.

DUNROBIN – West Carleton and a chunk of Renfrew County will be the beneficiaries of a multi-level government announcement promising $13 million to bring high-speed Internet service to 6,400 homes in rural eastern Ontario.

DUNROBIN – The Dunrobin and District Women’s Institute (WI) hosted Ward 5 Coun. Clarke Kelly Monday (March 6) and the meeting covered many of the community’s most pressing issues.

CITY HALL – Council approved a revised timeframe for developing a new Zoning Bylaw for Ottawa, during today’s (March 8) regular City of Ottawa council meeting.
