GALETTA – It was an afternoon of music and stories in the Farmgate Cider barn as Newfoundland musician Sherman Downey shared both during a matinee performance last Saturday (June 22).

WEST CARLETON – The 48th Red Trillium Studio Tour (RTST) enjoyed such great weather last weekend (June 1 and 2), artists could set up both inside and outside the participating studios dotted around West Carleton.

FITZROY HARBOUR – The Harbour’s hills will we alive with the sound of music Thursdays in July as the long-running Concerts in the Park series returns to Fitzroy Provincial Park.

DUNROBIN SHORES – David Merritt has been an animator for more than 40 years and a West Carleton resident for more than 10 years, but this will be his first year as a studio stop on this weekend’s Red Trillium Studio Tour (RTST).

CARP – See the stars up close this summer with the Canadian Centre for Experimental Radio Astronomy’s (CCERA) summer camp held at one of the most interesting buildings in West Carleton complete with a fully operational radio telescope.
