KINBURN – A workshop focusing on the province’s electrical system was filled to capacity earlier this week (March 4), and not just locals, as all of Ottawa works to get a grasp on the country’s push to increase electricity capacity.

WEST CARLETON – Ward 5’s Rural Summit Resident Working Group (RWG) representatives have been named and both of them are long time advocates for rural issues in West Carleton.

ALMONTE – A woman who grew up in Carp is a big part of the largest donation the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor (AGH FVM) Foundation ever received, a $1.2 million gift from long-time summer residents Gene and Millie Simpson.
