CARP – He’s been homeless for years. That life experience has Arnprior’s Guy Lamarche building a ‘bunkie’ in Carp in the hope of providing a real-life example of a potential solution to the rural homeless problem.

CARP – Longtime horse farmer Stan Carruthers is a man who has Carp running through his veins. The lifelong 80-year resident has been involved in every major Carp event and project dating back to the 1952 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo held at the Carp Airport.

FITZROY HARBOUR – It was an event to brighten the village and spirits during the festive season. It was one that was mindful of COVID-19, yet still had to adjust at last minute in the rapidly changing environment that is the age of COVID-19.

KINBURN – There are reports of injuries and loss of livestock as West Carleton firefighters battled a barn fire on Diamondview Road this morning (Nov. 30).

WEST CARLETON – West Carleton’s longest-serving volunteer firefighters were honoured for their dedication and service to community on Nov. 18.

CARP – It was a tribute designed for these COVID-19 times, but held in any time, it would have been the perfect send-off for Carp royalty.
