DUNROBIN – A Carp and Ottawa church put their combined efforts together to raise $20,000 for the war-ravaged residents of Ukraine.

NEW YORK – A group of 17 West Carleton School of Performing Arts (WCSOPA) dancers spent the last weekend of July touring the Broadway scene, performing on a Broadway stage and stopping traffic in Times Square during a whirlwind tour of New York, New York.

CARP – Ice cream and live music is making a trip to the Carp Custom Creamery an event with the help of 14-year-old Carson Cameron and his guitar busking for those enjoying a cold treat this summer.

CARP – A produce stand opening in Carp this Saturday (July 30) will help West Carleton move out of its ‘food dessert’ status while kicking off a project with a global vision as well.

GALETTA – At 77-years-old, Galetta’s David Jefferies will be competing at the 2022 Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships Aug. 15 to 25 in Burlington, ON.

CARP – July is drive-in bingo month in Carp and people from all over the Ottawa Valley and the city are making the trek out to the Carp Fairgrounds to take part.

CARP – Wayne Crawford was always a big fan of the Carp Fair and now his family has honoured that legacy with the construction of a new entrance at the Carp Agricultural Society’s (CAS) multi-use field off Carp Road.
