CARP – The predicted hot Carp Fair summer is off and running in 2022 with a loud end to June and things really heating up in July.

ELM – A small neigbhourhood in West Carleton has brought back an important piece of its history and returned it to its proper place in front of the small schoolhouse that served Elm starting almost 200 years ago.

KINBURN – The West Carleton Amateur Radio Club (WCARC) took their equipment to the Kinburn Community Centre June 11, 12 and 13 to compete in the Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL) Very High Frequency contest.

DUNROBIN – A little rain didn’t hurt anyone, as Dunrobin’s volunteer firefighters fed an estimated 700 people during the return of their annual pancake breakfast Sunday (Jan. 12) morning.

CARP – The Buy the Village Green (BVG) committee will dissolve on a high-note making three significant donations to three local organizations.

VYDON ACRES – The air over Vydon Acres was buzzing all weekend long with the sound of radio control airplanes taking part in the Arnprior Remote Control Club’s (ARCC) first open event in more than two years.

WEST CARLETON – A severe storm blew through West Carleton this afternoon (May 21) toppling trees, damaging homes, and creating power outages across the city, but community members and residents are already clearing the debris.

CARP – Spring has most definitely sprung in West Carleton and that’s the perfect time to feast on the treasures of the Carp Hills.
