CITY HALL – While today’s (Jan. 23) Agriculture and Rural Affairs committee (ARAc) meeting focused on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facilities in general, the South March BESS was certainly the star of the show.

NEPEAN – The purchase of roughly 223 acres of land near Fitzroy Harbour will be discussed at next Thursday’s (Jan. 23) Agriculture and Rural Affairs committee (ARAc) meeting.

CONSTANCE BAY – It was touch and go there for a while, both body and weather-wise, but Santa Claus delivered for the West Carleton Outdoor Hockey League (WCOHL), and the best hockey league in the world kicked off the 2025 season on Len Russell Rink last Saturday (Jan. 4).
