BUCKHAM’S BAY – The snow was flying, and the fish were biting at the 19th annual Constance Bay Kids Fishing Derby on Buckham’s Bay Feb. 16.

DUNROBIN – Last week (Jan. 20) Evolugen, the Canadian operations business for Brookfield Renewables announced in a letter to West Carleton Online, they have selected a site just off Marchurst Road, approximately 3.4 kilometres from the village of Dunrobin, for a proposed Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installation.

CITY HALL – While today’s (Jan. 23) Agriculture and Rural Affairs committee (ARAc) meeting focused on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facilities in general, the South March BESS was certainly the star of the show.
