WEST CARLETON – Hydro Ottawa says the damage of the long weekend storm, far outweighs the damaged caused in the 2018 tornado or in the 1998 ice storm. While West Carleton homeowners may disagree with that statement, many still await the return of electricity as Hydro Ottawa, Hydro One and some of their neighbours work around the clock to restore power to eastern Ontario.

CONSTANCE BAY – Unprecedented in the volunteer community service industry, the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Association (CBBCA) will expand its board numbers for the 2022 year.

KENSON PARK – Ottawa firefighters were able to save a cat this morning (May 2) from a house fire on Minnetonka Road near Iris Street. One of two firefighters have already attended this morning.

CONSTANCE BAY – Thanks to Ottawa River water rescue training, Constance Bay volunteer firefighters were nearby when it was time for the real thing.

CARP – Kanata-Carleton MPP Dr. Merrilee Fullerton dropped by the Carp Agricultural Hall yesterday (April 21) and she brought her wallet with her.
