CONSTANCE BAY – The community demanded it, the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Association (CBBCA) provided it, and everybody loved it, Constance Bay’s first nighttime Santa Claus Parade.

WEST CARLETON – Earlier this week (Nov. 28) West Carleton Online published the story of a young G2 licensed driver who was nabbed for stunt driving near West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS).

PANMURE – The Upper Dwyer Hill Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project coordinator says the few who have been in attendance at the project’s public meetings, appear to have no objections with their proposal for a facility at 650 Upper Dwyer Hill Rd.

CARP – Diefenbunker staff and politicians showed off the results of a new project Friday (Nov. 24) that will make a new part of the museum accessible to visitors but still maintain the heritage feel and look of the Cold War museum.

CARP – The West Carleton War Memorial Remembrance Day service returned to its former pre-COVID glory Saturday (Nov. 11), as several hundred people attended the first full service in Carp since 2019, including a Carp soldier enjoying the opportunity to mark the important day in her hometown for the first time.

FITZROY HARBOUR – More than 60 area residents attended last night’s (Nov. 1) open house meeting organized by Evolugen and they were clearly opposed to the company’s battery energy storage system (BESS) proposed for a property at Galetta Side and Homesteaders roads.
