GALETTA – The Galetta Community Association (GCA) approved the purchase of Wi-Fi service so users can access the Internet while at the Galetta Community Centre.

SANDY HILL – Team 2707 Merge Robotics joined six other FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams in the University of Ottawa’s Marion Hall Saturday (Jan. 8) for their, and the world’s robotics teams’, 2024 challenge unveiling.

CONSTANCE BAY – The long running Turkey Shoot took place at the West Carleton Royal Canadian Legion Saturday (Dec. 16) and the winner of the annual Branch 616 dart tournament brings home the main ingredient for Christmas dinner.

FITZROY HARBOUR – The second annual Fitzroy Harbour Santa Claus Parade was similar in length in its first year but did grew both in scope and Christmas spirit.

WEST CARLETON – Earlier this week (Nov. 28) West Carleton Online published the story of a young G2 licensed driver who was nabbed for stunt driving near West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS).
