CARP – Friday (Sept. 22) of the Carp Fair, otherwise known as West Carleton’s unofficial PD Day, had fairgoers lined up well before the 9 a.m. gate opening, eager to hit the midway for bracelet day.

MARATHON VILLAGE – Last year, West Carleton Online only caught a glimpse of the motorized picnic table.

CONSTANCE BAY – It’s tradition across the country that Legion Week starts on a Sunday.

CARP – City of Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe spent last weekend doing some socializing in Carp and getting a little work done as well.

DUNROBIN – Sunday (Aug. 27) was the day where the Dunrobin community could come out and add the finishing touches to a huge mural painted on the plywood of the unfinished Dunrobin plaza, and the event even brought out the mall’s owner who brought some good news of his own.

CARP – It was an evening to show off the Carp Mess Hall, but add a barbecue and the Huntley Community Association (HCA) was able to turn an open house in to a full house.

CONSTANCE BAY – Two of the leaders behind West Carleton’s Canadian Foodgrains Bank annual contribution are making their bounce-back from COVID- 19.

DUNROBIN – It was an unlikely and unbelievable reunion both parties thought would never, ever happen, despite thinking about it constantly for more than 80 years.

CONSTANCE BAY – Constance Bay’s Ottawa River beach has become a destination location for many, and this long weekend saw large crowds, traffic chaos and parking shenanigans creating headaches for residents including Ward 5 Coun. Clarke Kelly.
