Carp mess hall re-opens with new floor

CARP – The Carp Mess Hall, the public hall owned and managed by the Huntley Community Association (HCA) has re-opened following its closure at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Huntley Community Association Mess Hall is once again open for community use,” the HCA released in a statement Saturday (Aug. 29). “Strict COVID-19 protocols are in place including mandatory wearing of masks, thorough disinfecting of all surfaces and strict physical distancing. For this reason we can accommodate groups of up to 20 people at a time.”
While the hall was closed during the pandemic, the HCA provided the facility with a little TLC.
“We’ve used the last few months while the hall was closed to do some renovations, including new floors,” the HCA said. “We look forward to welcoming the community back to this space.”
