CARP – As COVID-19’s war on Hallowe’en continues, a spooky annual Carp event has decided to halt its haunts this year.
The annual Huntley Volunteer Firefighter Association’s popular Haunted Fire Hall event will be shelved for this year’s Hallowe’en.
“Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the Carp Fire Station will not be having a Haunted House this year,” association members released in a statement last week (Oct. 16). We look forward to scaring everyone in 2021.”
The long-running event is a mainstay must-visit for kids of all ages on Hallowe’en. The Haunted Fire Hall is often a fundraiser for the association as well as other local not-for-profit organizations.
