Catherine has had an avid interest in construction and renovation since her very first assignment at the tender age of 6 when her Dad asked her to countersink all the finishing nails in the family’s new “rec room” – do you remember that wood panelling? How many other grandmothers do you know who’d rather go shopping for a compressor than a Cuisinart?

Before being licensed as a full-time realtor, Catherine was a consultant to the private sector, governments and non-profit organizations. The same strong work ethic, drive and self-discipline that helped her run a successful consulting business have ensured her success at real estate.

Originally from Toronto, her family made the smart move to the Ottawa area over 20 years ago and chose the west end of Ottawa as the perfect spot to lay down new roots. She later moved to rural Kanata where, along with her husband, she bought an unfinished home on 4 acres. Catherine acted as the General Contractor and worked with over 48 tradespeople in just 6 weeks to complete the home. She learned a lot about home construction during the process, made great contacts with excellent tradespeople and is convinced this was the best project management experience she’s ever had!
