Arnprior welcomes two new doctors to the Valley

ARNPRIOR – Two new doctor are opening family practices at the Arnprior hospital this May.
Dr. Julie Ridgen and Dr. Florin Padeanu will be opening their office slowly due to the restrictions in place related to COVID-19. The two family physicians will be reaching out to individuals who have their name on the Arnprior and District Family Health Team waiting list starting early in May.
Ridgen was born in Stratford, ON and grew up in Arnprior. She studied at the University of British Columbia and completed her Family Medicine Certification at McGill. Ridgen has practiced in Montreal, Oka, Iqaluit and Winnipeg, and her recent return to the Ottawa Valley has brought her full circle, and closer to family and friends
Padeanu is happy to be joining his wife, Ridgen, to work as a family doctor in Arnprior. After attending the University of Manitoba, Dr. Padeanu successfully ran a large medical clinic in Winnipeg for many years.
Arnprior will now have 18 family doctors including: Drs. Gordon, Schriver, Morrison, Boersma, Rivington, Suzuki, Becker, Kurian, Nejad, Fitzsimon, Fishman, Zadow, Yau, Montgomery, Garcia and McCarthy.
