Arnprior opens some services

ARNPRIOR – The Town of Arnprior opened some of its facilities over the weekend including the town’s boat launch.

The boat launch opened May 16 but there is no docking or gas sales available. Use the boat launch at your own risk and practice the required social distancing measures.

Arnprior Town Hall will re-open on Wednesday at 830 a.m. Residents should only visit in person for essential services and continue their access by the alternate options available. The town hall will be open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. At the first and second-floor counters social distancing is required and meetings with staff members are available by prior appointment.

All of the announced payment deferrals remain in effect for municipal accounts – but if you are paying a bill, please try to do it online. The Arnprior Landfill at 658 River Rd. opens this Friday, (May 22) at 9 a.m.

It will operate on reduced hours, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday from 9 to noon. Make sure your visit to the dump is of an essential nature.

Paper vouchers will not be accepted at the landfill but can be converted to digital at town hall.
