CARP – Do you have a kid like those ones you used to see in those family sitcoms from the 1960s and ‘70s? You know, responsible?
If not, then maybe they could find some value in a Financial Literacy Workshop. Carp Village Tutoring is partnering with Balance Financial to present a free Financial Literacy Workshop on Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at The Village Station (3722 Carp Rd.).
“Come have fun and learn all about money,” Carp Village Tutoring’s Sarah Reid released in a statement. “How do you get it? What can you do with it? How do you make it grow? Money Cents is a fun, information-packed workshop for kids and teens. At the workshop, kids will learn essential financial skills for today’s world.”
Topics covered include budgeting, your first job, saving and investing, credit scores, understanding debt and spending to name a few.
