SUMMARY:West Carleton Garden Club presents Starting Seeds
DESCRIPTION:With all the snow we’ve been having\, it will be nice to start thinking ahead to our summer plantings. This month’s meeting features a local flower grower\, Natalie Tovell from Farmview Gardens in Kinburn who\, with her husband Rob\, have developed and planted flower beds on their just over one-acre property. They now provide fresh cut flowers on a seasonal basis at their stand at the road and by subscription.  \nNatalie will discuss how to get started with seeds: the process\, the care of seedlings and the planting out process\, just in time to inspire us in our own endeavours. \nThis is an in-person meeting. In the event of inclement weather\, an online meeting on Zoom might be arranged in which case a notice will be posted on the website on the day.
