SUMMARY:Red Trillium Studio Tour
DESCRIPTION:The Red Trillium Studio Tour returns October 20th and 21st spotlighting the studios of some of West Carleton’s talented artists/artisans and some beautiful gardens.   You can meet local craftspeople in their studios on this very popular self-guided studio tour taking place around Carp\, Dunrobin and Kinburn areas. Just 20 minutes beyond Kanata into the countryside\, you will find studios featuring paintings\, photography\, pottery\, blown glass\, basketry\, woodturning\, handweaving\, women’s clothes\, fine art textiles and Kin Vineyards.   New to this tour are David Lafleche with oil paintings of city and land scapes\, Michael Peterson with unique baskets from natural materials and Carol Holmes-Kerr with functional pottery. The ladies’ group at the heritage St Mary’s Church will again be offering delicious lunch choices. Pick up a brochure/map at Dunrobin Village Meat or from any of our sponsors.
