DESCRIPTION:Red Trillium Studio and Garden Tour Spring 2019  \nThe Red Trillium Studio Tour returns June 1st and 2nd 20th and 21st spotlighting the studios of West Carleton’s talented artists/artisans and some beautiful gardens.   You can meet local craftspeople in their studios on this very popular self-guided studio tour taking place around Carp\, Dunrobin and Kinburn areas. Just 20 minutes beyond Kanata into the countryside\, you will find studios featuring paintings\, photography\, pottery\, blown glass\, woodturning\, handweaving\, women’s clothes\, fine art textiles and Kin Vineyards. New to this tour is Marlene Othmer with stained art glass merging the traditional with the unexpected; Carolyn Barnett with colourful knit and felted garments; and\, Randall Denley who will be featuring his newest Kris Redner Mystery. The ladies’ group at the heritage St Mary’s Church will again be offering delicious lunch choices. The Heart and Soul cafe again welcomes visitors for delicious breakfast and lunch choices.
