SUMMARY:Hidden Lake Park Ecological Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join Friends of the Carp Hills and field naturalist Art Goldsmith on Thanksgiving weekend for a family-friendly guided nature tour to learn about the ecology\, plants\, and animals of Hidden Lake Park in Carp.  Although only 14 acres in size\, this City of Ottawa park lies on the edge of the Carp Hills and shares its diversity of life.  Walking is easy on a wide\, crushed stone path. \nRegistration is not necessary.  Just show up.  We will meet at the Charlie’s Lane entrance. If you live in Carp\, please walk to the site. Parking is limited on the street. \nThe tour will proceed rain or shine unless it’s really pouring. Check our Facebook group or page on the morning of 8 October if you’re looking for confirmation. \nA $5 donation is appreciated to help cover our insurance costs\, but is not required. \n
